The Cardigans

The Cardigans are Swedish group, formed in 1992, originating from Jonkoping, but later they moved to Malmo. They signed with Stockholm Records and began their rise to stardom. In 1996 they released album "First Band On The Moon" with single "Lovefool", which was included in "Romeo & Juliet" movie soundtrack next year, becoming #1 hit worldwide.

In 1998 they released album "Gran Turismo", with singles "My Favourite Game" and "Erase/Rewind", repeating success. This album was followed by albums “Long Gone Before Daylight” and “Super Extra Gravity”.

Band members are: Nina Persson - vocals, Peter Svensson - guitar, Bengt Lagerberg - drums, Magnus Sveningsson - bass, Lasse Johansson - keyboard, acoustic guitar.
