Maria Rubia was born on the 20th December, 1977, in Norwich, England. She is known as model, singer and actress. As a child she lived in France, Wales and Spain. In 1992 she returned to Wales to study at the University of Wales.
In music she debuted with Fragma hit "Everytime you need me". It was followed by her first solo single "Say It". Solo or with musicians like Double N and Akyra she released hits like "Romeo", "Here comes the rain again" (Eurythmics cover), "Forever and a day"...
She appeared in one episode of TV series "Live & Kicking", as a presenter at "Top of the Pops", and in "T4 on the Beach 2006".
Currently she is a member of new band (From Above). The band style is urban and melodic pop, plus R&B and Electro. Band is currently in the studio, finishing their first track "Hummer". Date of release of the single (or album?) is not available.
